A rabid squirrel on the tree next to my balcony (Need some help)?

Well recently, this squirrel came around on my balcony eating the crackers I left out for some birds. I have a 5 year old, who really likes squirrels, and she managed to grab it. But it bit her and ran back onto it's huge tree. The squirrel's mouth was foaming, and it's eyes become red the more I try to approach it. Any tips on getting rid of that squirrel? It's looking at me right now.
